One of our full color displays is running your Nova Taurus TB3 controller with WiFi.
Question.
Our customer wants to display a Microsoft Office Power Point presentation on this display. He wants to be able to manually control when the individual presentation pages change. Is this possible?
If so how would he do this.
I’m sorry you can not!
It’s asynchronous.
Hi, how about if we change the TB3 for a TB6 which is dual?
Will Totally work with a Tb6
Sounds good – what software would my customer have to use with the TB6 ?
One further question – when we installed the TB3 we also installed a synchronous card into the unit – does this not give the TB3 synchronous capability?
Software: NovaLCT Vplex
You can not use a synchronous card in to give the TB3 synchronous capability. These two cards can not be used at the same time.
OK I understand that the TB3 cannot work.
What I am unclear of is how the TB6 will using ViPlex Express software.
TB6 has WiFi and we will use that to control it.
ViPlex Express seems to only allow files etc to be published to the display – how do you use this to manually start, stop and continue a powerpoint presentation that is displaying on the LED display – do you have to physically stop on the controlling PC and then publish the command?
I see nothing in ViPlex Express that allows real-time interaction with the LED Display. What am I missing here?
The only way I know how you could pull this off is as follows:
-Use a TB6
-Disregard the ViPlex Solution entirely.
-Use the HDMI In of the TB6 to connect a PC behind the TB6.
-Connect TB6 output to display via Cat5/6
-Scale to zoom the entire desktop and at this point you are basically using the display as a monitor and you could change slides on command.
Hope this helps.

Use The Computer connected to the Hdmi connection to do all this Manualy
